Fakhar Zaman has always been a very famous batsman in Pakistan Super League for Lahore Qalandars. He is very notable for his batting style. It was considered that Fakhar Zaman has a very limited future with Lahore Qalandars but Fakhar Zaman has denied this by saying that it was just a formality. He said,

“They have just released me [as a formality], but I am still going to play for Lahore [Qalandars].” This insurance has a great importance for Zaman’s fans because he had a great contribution for the previous PSL matches.

Throughout his stay with the Qalandars Zaman has shown great performance especially in PSL 2023, he scored 96 runs in 45 balls against Peshawar Zalmi. He also achieved a record of making most sixes in PSL. He has also broken  the record of Baber Azam of making the highest run score in PSL. His Importance also raised when he made century against Islamabad united when he scored 115 of 57 balls.

He was considered a very lucky charm of the return of Fakhar Zaman in the team of Lahore Qalandars by the fans. He has great experience and a very good ability to handle the stress during the match. Lahore Qalandars will surely shine under the leadership of Shaheen Shah Afridi and the participation of Fakhar Zaman will add more fun in PSL for the fans. He is considered a key opening batsman for Lahore Qalandars. He shows great performance in high stress matches
